Pain, stress, and injury can have a profound impact on an individual’s quality of life. I am no stranger to this and found my passion for the practice of massage therapy in addressing my own difficulties in this way through treatment. My practice is informed by these experiences as I work to promote body awareness and relaxation, while decreasing pain and facilitating recovery from injury.
Understanding that one approach does not fit all, I offer patient-centred, holistic care that is stress and trauma-informed. Working with you to meet your short and long-term goals, I consider all aspects of your life and health history when assessing and developing a personalized treatment plan with you.
Using the Biodynamic Fascial Integration treatment approach, which includes the modalities of fascial mobilization (myofascia, bones, ligaments), visceral/organ specific treatment and craniosacral therapy, I treat an area of the body locally while considering global fascial connections that may be contributing to your condition or injury.
I have experience in helping individuals with TMJ dysfunction, migraines/headaches, chronic pain, post-concussion syndrome, digestive conditions, whiplash, arthritis, nerve impingement syndromes such as carpal tunnel/thoracic outlet/sciatica, fibromyalgia, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injury, tendonitis, strains/sprains, post-stroke recovery, hip and knee replacement, and provides pre/post-natal care, as well as treatment for general neck/shoulder and low back/hip/pelvic pain.
I am enthusiastic about human anatomy and physiology, and have a keen interest in how the human body works and responds to therapeutic touch, movement, and breath. Over the years I have practiced various forms of dance and yoga, and encourage you to move your body and breathe, but also take pause and slow down. I strongly value work-life balance, currently practice meditation and yoga, and love to learn! …but I also love being a big kid, getting tattoos, and playing video games.
I look forward to meeting you and helping achieve your optimal health and wellness!

Brooke graduated with honours from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, following her post-secondary education of a Bachelors Degree in Human Kinetics and Psychology from the University of British Columbia Okanagan. Throughout her academic journey, she gained extensive hands-on experience working with patients of all ages, addressing a wide range of conditions such as acute and chronic orthopedic issues, post-surgery rehabilitation, spinal cord injuries, stress, headaches, whiplash, and various systemic ailments. Brooke has developed a special interest in treating the complexities of jaw pain, discomfort, and dysfunction. TMJ dysfunction can result in headaches, neck pain, difficulty chewing, jaw clicking, and other issues. The treatment involves a combination of manual therapy techniques to alleviate these symptoms with an approach that includes soft tissue work, intraoral massage, joint mobilizations, and corrective exercises aimed at reducing tension in the muscles surrounding the jaw.
Growing up playing competitive sports, she experienced plenty of her own injuries and found relief from a variety of treatment modalities. It was her love for exercise and movement that solidified her decision in becoming an RMT. She still remains active by playing slow pitch and golf in the summer, snowboarding in the winter, and running and hiking all year round.
In her practice, Brooke incorporates a variety of techniques tailored to each patient’s needs, including Swedish massage, deep tissue work, trigger point release, stretching, and joint mobilizations. She has a strong passion for learning and understanding how the body works in order to provide a safe and effective treatment plan for her patients.

Dr. Julie Nelson Dr. TCM, R.Ac.
Traditional Chinese Medicine is a natural system that works with the body’s energy “QI” to bring it into balance. Physical trauma, emotional trauma, stress and lifestyle are just some of the factors that can injure or damage the body’s energy.
My goal first and foremost is to understand the cause of your illness and then provide a gentle, effective treatment in a safe, healing space.
My understanding of energy and how it gets stored in the body started when I began practising healing touch. I am able to detect Qi aberrations. This practice of hands on healing lead me to Traditional Chinese Medicine where I learned to incorporate needling, Gua Sha, Cupping, Electrical Stimulation and Chinese Herbs into my healing practices.
